I met Klarina of An:Idea at a birthday party of our mutual friend Sally Dige. Actually we got introduced by her saying: "This is Klarina, she speaks
German too" and she left us alone. Saying we got on like a house on fire is an understatement. It was cracking jokes, laughing, being silly, until we left. We exchanged numbers and I fell in love with her as a person and her music too.
Her music is clear, cold but somehow not clinical. She has a voice that tears out your heart. Her sound is very "Mute Records 1981". I asked her if she was up to do a Remix, but she suggested to do a cover instead. That was a completely new idea, I was really, REALLY thrilled. I loved how she turned "Venus Flytrap Eyes" into one of her songs.
