Where to start with Eschberg? There is a whole book waiting to be written about Eschberg. We started Eschberg in the early 90s. Back then we were still named "Mindfield" and it was the first ever band I sang in. We did Wave music and we thought, we were the darkest band on the planet. Years later, when the music became harder, more industrial, Mindfield became Eschberg. Eschberg is like a family. Sometimes you are closer, sometimes you are further away - but in the end you are a family, like Stefan of Noah Grain/Le Plan.
Bodi, drummer of Eschberg, helped re-recording and mixing a lot of the stuff that became "Record Full Of Last Songs". He helped a lot with the arranging and he actually came up with the idea of doing a remix of one of the songs. After we recorded "Folkefest", he said he would love to do his own mix of that track. I guess this was the birth of this album you are listening to right now. He wanted to do something unusual, so we met at the rehearsal room of Eschberg, but listen yourself.
