The idea to do a Remix/Reinterpretation/Cover Album of "Record Full Of Last Songs" started slowly and grew and grew and grew. First Bodi, of Eschberg, with whom I did a lot of the work for the first record, told me he was itching to do his own version of "Folkefest" - and so I asked friends, whose musical work I adore to do their own versions as well.
You can listen to the result, right here.
Also the idea came up - why not ask artist friends to "remix" the brilliant cover artwork by my lovely friend Daniel J. Skråmestø. So I asked Frankie (Timo, set yourself a deadline), Fredster (Golden Girls rule), Amè (Meet me at the K-Cafe), Ango (AnguBangu, can I have a Cola and Rum, per favore), Moe (Kitsch as kitsch can be) and Olaf (build me a house made out of love).
I am blessed and forever grateful for you to share your talent with me. Thanks for being part of this album full of affairs.
Thanks to Orange 'Ear for the mastering, Frau Blox for "the, the or the?".
...and to you. I hope, this record brings as much fun to you as it did to me.
